Strictly Cash Payments Only at Yellow Cab

We had dinner at Yellow Cab last Tuesday night. I had been craving for their pizza and spaghetti with meatballs since last week. (The last time I ate at Yellow Cab was last year.) Edwin was paying his Globe bill at SM Manila so I didn’t have a hard time asking him out.

I love Yellow Cab!

Food at Yellow Cab remains amazingly delicious. The brand is also doing well in the market. Somehow it makes me proud to be Filipino as I heard Yellow Cab is a 100% Filipino-owned company. Yeah, just like the eternally jolly bee. I wonder, though, why it’s been taking them ages to accept payment thru credit cards.

As far as I know, you can only dine in a Yellow Cab store if you have enough cash with you. Is their ‘strictly cash payments only’ policy temporary or for good? I think it’s impractical to make it a permanent thing because they are already missing huge sales. People today are more comfortable spending money thru credit cards than real money. When will Yellow Cab realize this? Just asking.

Are you a Yellow Cab fan? What do you think about their ‘strictly cash payments only’ policy?
