On Being a Model

No, I didn’t quit my job and grabbed myself a modelling career. I just experienced some six grueling hours of acting like a model for a special photoshoot. Actually, I did it with the fiancé (now that’s a given!).

I can’t believe we sweated like pigs while trying to be obedient to our photographers. Prior to the shoot, the fiancé and I had decided to give it our best and trust in the team that we got to do the job with. It was physically-draining yet at the end of the shoot, we were simply awed by the output (thanks again, Kuya Rod Vicente!). All the hardships were well worth it.

After our rigorous pre-nuptial pictorial, I realized one thing. That I could never earn a living posing in front of the cameras. Like seriously. Even if the job comes with a big load of prestige and fame. Models are indeed born, they are not just made. 🙂
