GM Diet, Day 3

GM Diet Day-by-Day Account: Day 1, Day 2

Today, January 24, 2013, is my Day 3 on the GM Diet. Two days of dieting isn’t a joke. My body is new to all the diet changes I had introduced and I have to admit I felt weak the past two days. Blame that to the lack of carbohydrates which give us energy. But that doesn’t mean I’m giving up. I”ll make sure to see the end of this diet challenge.

Here’s what Day 3 is all about:

Day Three A mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice. Any amount, any quantity. No bananas yet. No potatoes today.

Day 3 Weight: 136 lbs. (lost 3 lbs. since Day 1)

This fruit and vegetable combo looks fun. At least, I could still eat my fave fruits. I started the day with fresh apple slices and two glasses of water. And I had fresh orange slices for morning snack. My lunch consisted of veggies in the form of fresh cucumber and tomatoes and blanched carrots. Dinner was same.

While I wasn’t too happy eating the veggies, I was okay with drinking lots of water. In fact, I enjoyed it. As for the exercise part, I just did some stretching. Ooops, I also went to the mall in the evening. I walked around while the hubby finished some errands. Better than nothing.

Breakdown of Expenses:

1 big Fuji apple, P20
1 big orange, P25
2 medium-sized carrots, P10
2 medium-sized cucumber, P22
4 tomatoes, P10

Total Expenses: P87

No food cravings recorded today. Four more days and I’m done! I can’t wait to see more pounds lost in the coming days. 🙂

P.S. I took my weight using a bathroom scale first thing in the morning, with an empty stomach.

  1. Dieting is the boring-est. That’s for me. I must commend you for not thinking (and feeling) the same. Good luck in your food challenge, I’m sure you’ll be sexier you after the program. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Ella! Haha. To be honest, I also find dieting boring. But recently I became frustrated with my weight loss efforts that I had to be motivated. Thought of trying this one out. Thought this short (only 7 days!) diet challenge might be worth the effort this time. You know, just to “jumpstart” my weight loss. 🙂
