Tostitos chips and dips may be way expensive than their local counterparts but they surely deliver in the quality and taste departments. I found them at the supermarket last weekend and decided to try them for the very first time. I used to find it impractical to buy expensive junk food until I fell in love with Pic Nic ketchup fries, Pringles potato chips and Doritos tortilla chips. Haha. I realized I had to give them a try to find out if my money would be worth it.
And with Tostitos tortilla chips, I can say I got my money’s worth. The restaurant style tortilla chips are big enough (13 oz. pack for P149.75) for the hubby and I to munch on while watching movies during weekend nights. We haven’t even finished the pack I bought yet. The Tostitos creamy spinach dip (P199 for a small jar), on the other hand, is now stored in our ref for future use. We only consumed a small amount because the hubby barely touched it, preferring to eat the chips as is.
Did I mention the spinach dip was yummy? It’s like sour cream with veggies. Eating the chips with it lessens my guilt. Haha. It’s easy to say that the Tostitos chip and dip combo is my new favorite junk food. I don’t know though if the cheapskate in me can sustain getting it because of the price. You see, a few packs of Tostitos can already get me some really nice custom backpacks! But we’ll see in the coming days.

Ah, life’s little pleasures. Those junks were always on our monthly grocery list before diapers ate it whole. haha Nakamiss din yan ah.
Korek! Samantalahin ko na muna habang wala pa kaming baby ulit kasi pag meron na, baka hindi na ako makabili ng mga gusto ko kainin. Hehe.
