Top Three Things I Pray For Everyday

I’m not really a prayerful or religious person but I say a prayer whenever and wherever I want. That’s how I communicate and build a relationship with my God. Not for anything, but I just feel like sharing the top three things I pray for daily. Here they are in no particular order:

1. Safety and Protection. Danger is everywhere. You can never tell when you’ll get into trouble or worse, your life or those of the people you love endangered. I always pray for safety and protection for myself, my husband and our families wherever we are and whatever we do.

Don’t you just love it when you feel safe and protected? When you know nothing can harm you because God is watching over you and your loved ones, you get peace of mind and you are able to live life to the fullest.

2. Good Health. Having good health is like having everything. When you have good health, your body functions well. When your body functions well, you can do all the things you want to do. I cannot afford to get sick. It’s not only costly, but it’s also depressing.

A terminal disease such as cancer, for instance, can deplete even the wealthiest man’s resources. Though my pay slip tells me I’m not a struggling worker, I’m still not rich. Hence, I can’t afford to spend a huge amount of money on health care. Which reminds me, I’m due to get a health card!

When I pray, there’s always good health in the list. Good health for me, my husband and our families. I hate to see people getting sick, especially if it’s my family. I get worried and helpless, natural reactions when you know things have gotten out of control. Real healing only comes from God. I don’t pray for cure; I pray for prevention.

3. Happy Heart. No matter how much money you have or how much material things you possess, nothing beats having inner happiness. When you have a happy heart, you know you are in a good state and you are doing something right. I always pray to be content and happy with whatever little I have.

Of course, I also pray for blessings of many kinds, but it’s always what’s inside of my heart that’s more important. If you are truly happy, that’s when you become grateful for everything God has given and continues to give you. That’s also when you become capable of sharing the wonderful things you have with other people.

How about you, what are the top three things that you pray for everyday? 🙂
