On Boys and Cars

The hubby is so much into cars. He said it started when he was still a little boy. His dad, my FIL, is a family driver to an old-rich family and so he got exposed to different cars (mostly high-end models) at an early age. When he felt he could already afford a car of his own, he pushed for it in 2011 and so he now drives his own car (which I get to drive, too!).

Aside from reading about cars online and listening to car/tech podcasts, the hubby collects Top Gear magazines. Acquiring car knowledge is his only vice (and gadgets, too!) as he doesn’t smoke nor drink. Right now, he’s curious about kmc wheels and other car accessories. Oh, boys and their fascination with cars!

Is your husband/boyfriend a car fan, too? Why or why not? 🙂

  1. Cars are one of big boys “toys”.I wasn’t familiar with any cars before except Toyota,Honda,Audi at hindi dahil I owned one,my husband seems know everything when it comes to this. We don’t have any magazine subscription but one of the free weekly newspapers comes in the mail,it includes ads for different cars and lots of them.

  2. Yes, I guess it’s a boy thing. Me, too, I know only a few car brands. I’m quite familiar with the logos, though, because I played this Logo Quiz game on iPhone before, haha. 🙂

  3. Growing up with a lot of boys in the family (uncles and cousins) I have to agree. They start with bikes, then motorbikes, then they move on to cars. My grandpa was into big trucks!

    1. It must have been fun to be surrounded with boys while growing up, Jhanis. Wow, big trucks, parang hindi ko kaya i-drive yun, hehe! 🙂

  4. Oh, every man I know seems to have a fascination with cars! I, myself, am very fascinated with them. I don’t care about the technical aspects though haha!
