Weekend Story: Extended Stay and Cavite Dining Scene

Last weekend was a long one for the hubby and me. We spent a total of four days in our Bacoor home. We got there Saturday morning (the hubby’s classes were suspended) and left for Manila on Tuesday afternoon. We filed for a two-day leave from work using our overtime credits which, unfortunately for us, aren’t convertible to cash.

So what we did was we took a lot of rest at home. We also did some major cleaning (bathroom for me and the rest of the house for the hubby). Yes, that’s how division of labor works in our household. No judging. Haha. And we also worked on his last school report for this semester. Wow, time flies really fast. Before he knows it, another semester is looming already!

On Sunday night, we were able to go out for some couple time. We checked out the local dining scene in Cavite by visiting this commercial place at Binakayan, Kawit that’s filled with several restos and a Thai massage salon. We had an American dinner at Flip Eat Burger, then enjoyed desserts at Flakee Crepe and Prosperitea. Overall, the food was good and cheap, too. We had fun and we planned to go back to try the other restos there.

It’s good to know Cavite’s dining scene is getting more and more exciting. Next time, we’ll go on a food trip along Centennial Road in Gen. Trias as I heard there was a handful of new restos that have popped up there recently.

OMG, I’m still not on work mode. My mind thinks it’s still weekend today. What to do, what to do…

How did last weekend go for you, friends?

May you choose happiness always,
