Weekend Story: Two Office Outings (His and Hers)

So, last week saw the hubby and me going to the beach for our respective office outings. Mine was in the South (Anilao, Mabini, Batangas) while his was in the North (Morong, Bataan). It was an overnight stay for both outings and I left a day earlier than he did. We would meet again on Saturday night and spend the rest of the weekend in Manila with our families.

It was my third time in Anilao and my second time at Vista Aplaya. It was a unanimous decision to go back to Anilao because the place was simply beautiful and quiet, just what we needed for our R&R.

Just like what we did in our past visits, we rented a boat and snorkeled in the nearby islands while our lady boss went with her dependable guide to dive in the deep blue sea. The rest of our time was spent eating, chatting, and just lazing around. We needed this break and we were grateful for the all-expense paid opportunity.

I guess the hubby felt and experienced the same thing except he was in a different location. They stayed at Brizo Hotel and Beach Resort or more popularly known as the resort owned by celebrity couple Dodot Jaworski and Mikee Cojuangco.

  1. Anilao is a nice place…. if only I know to dive hahaha Pero setting aside, I enjoy the scenery I don’t often experience in the city. I love the photo of the sunset. D ko inabutan when we went kasi umulan 😛

    1. Ako naman parang takot magdive, too risky for my life, hahaha. And it’s an expensive hobby. Sarap sa Anilao, noh? Tahimik lang, mabagal oras. Umambon din nung andun kami, pero saglit lang. 🙂

  2. I miss team buildings and company get-togethers. We dont have such practices here, mostly kain kain lang. Never been to Anilao, pero ang ganda nung resort nyo, the infinity pool looks super inviting 🙂 Have a nice week, Edel!

    1. Gusto ko rin yang kain-kain lang basta magkakasama, hehe. Anilao is a lovely place! Yung resort na yan, okay na okay samin kasi maliit lang, very private. During our visit (Thursday & Friday), kami lang ang guests nila. Have a great week, too, Jackie! 🙂
