Weekend Story: New Food Finds + Velenica’s Kitchen in Kawit, Cavite

Last weekend was all about eating. Kaya palaki na ako ng palaki, eh! Wala, ang sarap talaga kumain lalo na pag weekend, hahaha. The hubby and I, along with my SIL Albie, drove home in Bacoor on Saturday and went back to Manila on Sunday afternoon. We just ate and ate, and slept, of course. If you’d ask me, I’d say it was a happy weekend even if our eating made us gain more unwanted pounds.

Here are some photos from our weekend:

porkchops ala Monic Rancap
yummy marinated pork chops sold by our neighbor (four pieces of ready-to-cook pork chops for PHP150 is sulit na!)

Saturday dinner at Velenica’s Kitchen

It was our first time at Velenica’s Kitchen in Kawit, Cavite and we enjoyed our dinner. Place was IG-worthy in every corner. Service was efficient. Prices were affordable. The dishes we ordered were deliciously comforting; it felt like we were eating at a friend’s home. Did I mention I loved their matcha cheesecake at first bite? It was really good! Like I will gladly go back there just for it!

Enjoy the rest of the Holy Week, friends! 🙂

May you choose happiness always,

    1. Tama ka. Ako hit and miss pag porkchops. Minsan, dry, minsan naman tender at juicy. Hehe. Thank you, Je! 🙂
