Swamped with Work

November and December are the busiest months in our office. This is when we organize many events for our direct client. The past weeks have been pretty manageable but this week is starting to get toxic. But I’m not complaining. I love my job because of many reasons.

I guess I just wanna breathe and to do that, I have to blog. And try a new restaurant or a new place. And spend more time with the hubby and my family. (That’s where weekends come in!) After that, I can face my job again and be productive. And the cycle repeats itself.

Summer Plans

With the number of events we are organizing in the office from March to June, it seems that all my summer plans will either be cancelled or postponed to a later date. OMG, we are soooo busy these days!

But it’s okay. More work in the office means more opportunities to learn. More work in the office means stability. More work in the office means I am blessed with a job that pays.

Vacation Mode

Lately, I’ve been noticing that my mind wanders when I’m at work. Busy or not, it happens. It’s like I want to be in a different place, like in a beach or something. I dunno, but maybe my body wants me to stay on vacation mode as I just came from a fantastic weekend getaway in Tagaytay (see my previous post). Haha. But the nearest vacation, or summer outing to be exact, that I could have won’t happen until next week. It’s our office outing, a sort of team building activity to be held in a beach resort somewhere in Batangas.

Speaking of our office outing, I just remembered I have yet to pack my things. Good thing it’s holiday tomorrow (hello, Labor Day). Since it’s just an overnight trip, I should pack light. And I better remind myself not to bring the house with me, like I always do when packing for a 3D 2N out-of-town trip with the hubby. (The man is actually the one on vacation mode right now as their office outing started yesterday and will be ending tonight.)
