One thing that attracts women to men is the voice. A man’s voice does not only add a lot to his masculinity, but also to his character as a person. Men think of the same about a woman’s voice, don’t they?
As I have observed, a man’s voice can either be deep, husky, sweet, loud, boyish, sexy or cockroach-sounding (boses ipis in Pinoy slang and is a big turn-off to girls). I know it’s kind of shallow but I’d be a hypocrite if I’d tell you that I’m okay with dating a guy with a cockroach-sounding voice or another with a voice that sounds like it came from underneath the earth’s surface. Definitely, I’d go for a decent-looking guy with nice voice over a good-looking guy with terrible-sounding voice anytime.

Right now, I’m excited about two things: our upcoming house move and my first birthday trip. I’m more excited about the latter, just because this is the first time I will be out of town on my birthday. Actually, it’s we, not I.
The boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our birthdays (which are only one week apart) in Boracay. We’ll be there second week of October and that’s barely two weeks from now. Where do you pay your bills? The boyfriend has this habit of paying his bills online (thru credit card) which I find smart. I, on the other hand, am old-school. I pay my bills at the nearest SM Bills Payment Center. I find it very convenient as I can pay my various bills in one place and with lesser hand work. You see, I’d just give the billing statement to the staff behind the counter and I’m done in no time. I know there are times the line gets unbelievably long but eventually you’ll learn proper timing.
As much as possible, I don’t entertain the idea of paying my bills online because a) all of my credit cards are 80% maxed-out already, b) using money from my bank accounts (which I can access online) to pay for my bills defeats the very purpose of saving up and c) I’m just too lazy to open the PC and do bills payment.

This blog is going to be my personal outlet in cyber space to document my awesome existence in the city of Manila, the city of dreams. I started living here in 2003, right after I landed my first job. I still have vivid memories of that period. Fast forward to 2010, I’m still here and enjoying every second of my life.
Life in Manila is anything but easy. I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs the past years. But I’m not the type of person who’s fond of complaining and sulking in the corner whenever I feel down. I’m more of the type who lives life to the fullest and rises above difficulties no matter what.
