Stuck at 130

I don’t know if I should be happy or sad about this. Happy, because it means my metabolism is improving. Sad, because after exerting so much little effort in losing weight, I got stuck at 130 lbs. I know, it’s all my fault. I should’ve eaten less when I could.

My big day is just a month away. And I’m weighing 130 lbs. Imagine that. When I looked at my face in the mirror this morning and smiled a bit, I saw a girl in her late 20’s with full cheeks and a double chin. For some reason, my skin also looked quite dry. I need to do something about this. I know I do.

Long Weekend Plans

Long weekend plans? Seriously, I don’t have any. At this point in my life, all I wanna do is take some rest whenever I can. I cherish my ‘me time’ moments and look forward to spending more time with myself doing some things that I’ve long wanted to do but don’t have the time to actually do them.

I have a thousand and one tasks that need to be accomplished with respect to my upcoming wedding. I have tons of things to do with my blogs (I’ve been neglecting most of them lately). I have weekly tasks in the office. I have on-call duties at my part-time work. I have familial responsibilities to attend to. Plus, I have to take care of myself to look good on my big day (which I think is the most important thing of all, haha).

A Date, Finally

Whatever event it is, date is one of the most important factors to consider. What year? What month? Is it gonna be a weekday? A weekend, perhaps? Day or night? Morning or afternoon? A good date settles most, if not everything, that could affect an event.

That’s why I’m very happy that we now have a date for our wedding. Yes, a date for our wedding! It’s not our first-choice date, though, because the church already has a full schedule on the date we preferred. But that’s okay. Perhaps, it’s destiny. At least it’s just a day early.
