Last weekend was peaceful and meaningful. First off, my SIL Albie flew to Bohol to see my PILs on Maundy Thursday while the hubby came back from Bohol (same reason) on Good Friday. I didn’t feel alone on the day my SIL left because I was with my extended family and of course, our dog Jasper, haha. I also did a lot of cooking because I realized it’s something I’m willing to do freely and I’m kinda good at it, ha! 😛
The hubby and I did Visita Iglesia in the afternoon of Good Friday instead of the usual Maundy Thursday. We went to seven churches and did two stations per church. It was quite a fun trip because the seven churches we visited are located in three cities: Bacoor, Las Piñas, and Muntinlupa. We were supposed to go to a public resort with my extended family on Black Saturday but ditched the plan at the last minute. The majority voted for a trip to Tagaytay instead. We, however, ended up going to Silang (Our Lady of La Salette Shrine and Acienda Designer Outlets) and Sta. Rosa (Solenad).

We even got to drive to Naic in the morning with my parents to pick up a few items from our family home there. We plan to have it rented out soon so we’re slowly moving things out of the house.

Last weekend was slow and relaxed. On Saturday, the hubby and I attended two events: a birthday lunch and a meet-up with his car club friends. We were just at home the entire Sunday, relishing what was left of our weekend. We were with family and made sure to do as much household chores that needed to get done.
