A Day Trip to Singapore with Aeroline

Part of our travel itinerary is to visit Singapore, which we did yesterday. We went there by riding a first class couch serviced by Aeroline. Travel time to Singapore is normally five hours and we were happy Aeroline delivered.

Would you believe there were only a total of seven passengers in our 27-seater double decker bus? Yes, that’s true. There were just the fiancee and I, Superf and her boyfriend Y, that friendly Malaysian-Chinese guy and that Caucasian mother and daughter tandem. If I’m not mistaken the two Caucasian came directly from the hotel that also serves us Aeroline’s pick-up point. We were even gossiping about them because it was the tall but frail-looking daughter who was carrying most of their luggages. She had one of those huge hiking backpacks firmly attached to her body and two more hand-carry bags. The mom, on the other hand, was just holding a small designer bag in one hand and a plastic folder on the other. We were sure of their relationship because of their strong resemblance to each other. Haha. But i digress.

Our Aeroline experience was a very pleasant one. Two thumbs up for their excellent service. I’m definitely raving about them on my travel blog upon my return in Manila.

  1. thinking of taking the KL-SG Aeroline service too =)

(sorry to bug you with some of these questions haha)
    – Is the terminal @ Corus Hotel easy to find?
    – Should I pre-book my ticket or is it okay to just show up?
    – How ’bout the Harbourfront drop off, any tips on finding the nearest MTR station?
    – Is it true Aeroline won’t WAIT at the immigration? (so worried to be left behind esp when I’m alone haha btw hows the situation w/ the IO…)

    thanks so much!

    1. Go ahead. I highly recommend it!

Corus Hotel is easy to find, it’s a stone’s throw away from the KLCC Twin Towers. There’s really no terminal, the bus just stops there to pick-up passengers. You can stay inside the hotel lobby while waiting for it. The Aeroline booth is actually inside the hotel lobby.

Yes, reserving your tickets is a must. Aeroline will get you waitlisted and inform you as to when the tickets can be bought.

The nearest MTR station is at Harbourfront itself. The Aeroline terminal is just outside of the building and their office at Level 2.

Of course, they will wait for you. They won’t wait ONLY if you’d get hold by the Immigration guys. FOr us, the IOs were good. They let us thru with no questions asked. Just fill up your disembarkation card completely and accurately.

      Hope that helps. 🙂
