The hubby and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary last March 17th. Our celebration spilled over until last weekend when we had an overnight stay at Crimson Hotel in Alabang for some R&R (siyempre hindi na kami lumayo pa!). We even got to squeeze biking into our schedule as it has recently become our Saturday morning routine.
Time flies fast, indeed. Four years of being together as a married couple is a big deal for us because it affirms two things: we get along well with each other and our marriage is okay. Our relationship as husband and wife isn’t perfect but we continue to make it work. It’s too early to tell if our marriage will last so I won’t even dare to make an assumption or something. But we are continuously praying for stability and harmony in our marriage. At the rate things are going, I think we’re fine and we continue to make each other happy, satisfied, and appreciated.
If there’s one thing I love about our union, it’s that we have a strong support system and both of our families get along with each other also. Mahirap kasi yung okay kayo pero ang mga pamilya nyo naman ay hindi magkasundo, diba? That’s why we always look forward to spending time with our folks. Grateful, I think this is the word that could best describe our feelings on this milestone in our married life.
So as not to bore you with my marital thoughts, here are some photos from our celebration:
family dinner on the day itself
biking along Roxas Blvd. when it was closed to traffic last Saturday morning due to a running event was super fun!
breakfast with the hubby’s biker officemate Giannie at the popular bikers’ tambayan beside Jetti Gas Station on Coral Way cor. Macapagal Blvd.
and we arrived at the hotel for our staycation!
yours truly and this lovely mirror at the hotel lobby (it’s on the 8th floor of the building)
view from the window of our room
first time to use my beachkin bag which was the hubby’s wedding anniv gift to me (you saw it first here)
heard the anticipated mass at St. Jerome Emiliani and St. Susana Parish and had our palaspas blessed by the priest (it was Palm Sunday the next day)
tried out the hotel gym and this was what I did
the hubby and a part of the huge swimming pool of Crimson Hotel
with blogger friend Joy, found out we were booked on the same day at the same hotel because of Instagram!
And that’s it, friends. Our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all who remembered our wedding anniversary and greeted us either personally or through our social media accounts. Love to you all and God bless! 🙂
Happy Anniversary!!! That bag is so gorgeous! Uy si joy, I’ve met her from touring Z-hostel sa Makati.
Thank you, sis!!! Magkakilala rin kayo? Small world talaga. 🙂
Happy anniversary to both of you! 🙂
At ang ikli na ng buhok mo ah perfect para sa season na super init. I wish I can do that too pero my hair is not that cooperative 🙁
How was the Crimson Hotel?
Thank you, Rachiel! Oo, nagpagupit ako may libreng gupit kasi sa opis, naisip ko nga just in time for summer. Crimson Hotel was beautiful and grand. Bago-bago pa kasi. Yung service medyo naturn-off ako ng konti kasi may nirequest kami sa reception tapos hindi na kami binalikan, di na nga nagawa request namin, ni wala man lang feedback. But we didn’t let it ruin our stay there. We had fun and that’s what matters most to us! 🙂
Happy anniversary! 🙂 We’ve learned a lot about marriage through our pastor’s sermons in the last few months, and it really does take a lot to make it work. Praying that God blesses you even more years and blessings.
Thank you Dani for the greeting and prayer! That’s so true! Marriage is a beautiful thing but you and your partner have to work together to make it last. 🙂
Happy 4th Anniversary sa inyo ng hubby mo! Cheers for long lasting marriage. Hehe.
Thank you, Cindy! 🙂
Happy anniversary! Stay happy and in love! Ang cute talaga nung bag! 😀
Thank you, Kriska! Yes, I love them (the hubby and the bag) to bits. 🙂
Taray! Hahaha Four years and counting!!! I’m sure madami pang milestones kayo together. Not to mention your hubby’s graduation. Malapit na ba? 🙂 I have always admired your family. Nakaka good vibes whenever I see photos with both of your family. To more years of bliss and happiness!
Salamat, Diane! Sa October, puhon! (Puhon is a Visayan word which means hopefully.) Same zodiac signs din pala silang apat, the women are Leos and the men are Scorpions kaya halos pareho ng ugali. 🙂
Apir kami ni Mame and MIL mo. Makulit yata talaga mga Leos.
Ay sobrang kuleeeeet! 🙂
Wow, happy 4th anniversary and congratulations to both of you! Maganda talaga if ok din ang relationship ng family ng bawat isa. Lesser complications.
Cheers to more years of marriage for you and your hubby!
Korek ka dyan, Mylene! The lesser complications, the better. Thank you!!! 🙂
Congratulations! Here’s to forever!
Thank you, TPS! Haha, may forever ba talaga? Sana! 🙂
I’m willing to settle for half of forever kasi feeling ko medyo matagal-tagal ang forever. Hehehehe
Hehehe, smart thinking! 🙂
Wow! A staycation. Ang saya lang. Miss ko na staycations. As in.
If only pwede magstaycation ng matagal, noh? Kaso we have work and all that stuff to attend to. 🙂
Wow! Happy 4th anniv sis! Stay in love!! =)
Thank you, sis! 🙂
