Two things that marked the past weekend for the hubby and me: a shopping trip and a birthday party.
On Saturday, we went to Landmark Makati with my MIL and my SIL to look for ready-made long gowns. We are attending a wedding next month and the dress code says “formal.” Like black tie and long gown kind of formal. I am used to wearing short dresses during weddings so this is going to be a new experience for me. Haha.
Anyway, after two hours of looking around and trying on various gowns, we finally got a gown each. We chose the simple but decent ones. They were all priced below 3k so pasok sa budget. Nakakatuwa talaga ang Landmark Makati!
secret muna how the gown looks!
That same day, we drove home in Bacoor to spend what remains of the weekend there. We were with my SIL and our friend Angie and her 3-year old kid. We would attend a birthday party the next day in DasmariΓ±as. It was our friend Grace’s nephew’s first birthday and we didn’t wanna miss it for the world. Because friends are supportive to each other and kaladkarin like that. Haha.
The birthday party was held at a village clubhouse. There were balloons, games, and clowns to entertain the kids. The event was festive and fun like most children’s parties are. We drove back to Manila last night right after the party and was joined in the car by another friend JP who went to the birthday party on his own all the way from Manila.
We weren’t able to bike last weekend and so the hubby was quite melodramatic (ang arte lang!). He just contented himself with looking at photos of friends who joined a Tagaytay bike ride last Sunday on Facebook. He would have joined that if he didn’t have other lakads. Poor guy. π
How about you, what’s your weekend kwento? π
Quite excited to see you in the gown!
Waaaaah, kailangan ko pa magpaliit ng braso! π
Own it! Kebs!
Good advice! Thanks, TPS! π

I need to shop for a dress also for our office anniversary celebration.

Excited na akong makita ang gown! π Landmark is the place to be hahaha.
LOL I’m excited to see what the gown looks like! But I agree that Landmark is a gold mine! I buy my dresses there and they’re really good quality. Some even below P400!
