Last June 12th, I accompanied my sister Jodie to Edwin Lisa Eyebrow Embroidery at SM Manila for a beauty procedure. She specifically wanted to get Keratin Lash Lift that promises to give her dull eye lashes a polished look. It was a holiday (read: Philippine Independence Day) and she felt it was the perfect day to take control of her eye lash situation. Haha. The results of the treatment were amazing! She went home a very satisfied customer and looked forward to going to work the next day. And what do you know! She received lots of compliments from her officemates (and even clients!) at the bank because it looked like she woke up with camera-ready eye lashes!
Keratin Lash Lift is a one-hour perm treatment for the eye lashes. The perm system uses a rod that magically makes your eyelashes look longer and thicker with nice and sexy-looking curls. It uses your own eye lashes so you don’t have to worry about getting allergic reaction from wearing false lashes. It’s called Keratin Lash Lift because the safe ingredients used were infused with keratin to nourish and protect your eye lashes.
Keratin Lash Lift is priced at PHP3,999 and lasts up to three months. My sister said she felt zero physical pain and discomfort all throughout the procedure. She noticed that the lady who did the treatment on her used some patches and creams and exposed her eye lashes to a bit of heat. For after care, it was recommended that she does not wash her eyelashes for 24 hours as getting them wet would ruin the desired full effect of the lash lift. They also advised her not to use any oil-based beauty products on her face within that time period. She followed the instruction and so her lashes have remained perfect up to this day.
Here are some before and after photos so you’ll see how great this treatment was (you really have to try it for yourself if you’ve been thinking about giving your eye lashes a makeover also!):

Edwin Lisa Labalan, the owner of the salon, was there during our visit and he was nice enough to take a photo with my sister and me.
Edwin used to do various treatments on my hair at his Makati salon. I got to chat with him for a few minutes and found out he now has five salons in the metro. (You can visit his website for the locations here.) Edwin has remained humble despite the success he’s been enjoying today. I am glad to see him doing what he does best — making people more beautiful and confident about themselves.
I was in Davao last weekend for work and I only saw my sister Jodie again last night when we had a Father’s Day dinner celebration at Robinsons Malate:
Don’t her lashes look more natural this time? I love it! 🙂
P.S. Edwin Lisa Eyebrow Embroidery is located at the ground floor of SM Manila beside David’s Salon and just across Watsons (the one beside Surplus). For inquiries, you may reach them at 0977-8376651. Or you could check out their Facebook page.
May you choose happiness always,
Grabe! Ang ganda. I tried yung padikit nung extra lashes dati pa and naubos nya ayung lashes ko. Hahaha! Pa natatanggal sumasama yung actual lashes ko. Ang mahal lang pero mukha namang worth it.
Thank you, sis! Yes, worth it naman kahit medyo pricey. At yun nga, nakaka-amaze naman talaga ang results, lakas maka-celebrity kaya satisfied ang sister ko, hehe. 🙂
