Last weekend was exhausting but fun.
The hubby and I spent Friday night partying at some hotel courtesy of an invitation from a friend (that I couldn’t turn down). We left the place as soon as we could because we started getting sleepy already from all the food and drinks we consumed. Haha.
On Saturday, we woke up early to bike in MOA. We also had breakfast at Biker’s Cafe after. It’s a dining place dedicated to bikers located at San Miguel by the Bay, also part of the massive MOA complex. In this resto, bikers can park, shower, and eat. Nice concept, huh!
Our Saturday night and the whole of our Sunday were spent with the hubby’s family. It involved a sleep-over in Bacoor, a visit to St. Pio Shrine in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, and a trip to Paseo de Sta. Rosa and Nuvali in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna.
St. Pio Shrine situation yesterday
You see, the hubby’s parents try to maximize their day off work by spending time with their children whenever they can. With the impending shut down of operations of La Cocina de Tita Moning (their employer), their retirement is guaranteed. They plan to retire at their hometown in Bohol and we will surely miss them. That’s why the hubby and I try to spend time with them as much as our schedule permits.
Anyway, Banapple now has a branch in Nuvali! I’ve long wanted to eat at this resto but their Ayala Triangle branch was full on our past two visits a few years ago. Hindi ko na pinalagpas ang pagkakataon. I literally dragged the hubby and my in-laws to eat there yesterday for lunch. We loved the warm service, the affordable prices, and the big servings and good quality of the food there. I might just take my family there to eat the next time we visit Nuvali!
my order, Trio of Sausages Fettuccine, was delish and good for sharing!
Don’t you just love how Ayala Corp. creates a lifestyle center, or any real estate development for that matter? They really make it a point to inject art and nature into the open spaces.

At Paseo de Sta. Rosa, we checked out the shops and indulged in some retail therapy. The boys got new shoes while the girls bought new clothes at discounted prices. I, for instance, scored two skirts from Old Navy at more than 50% off (PHP485 from PHP995):
my dark gray and black pencil tube skirts in cotton-spandex fabric (winner!)
We had a full schedule and our energy got zapped but it was all worth it. We are always grateful for the opportunities of spending time together as a married couple and being with our families (his side or mine or both!) for some bonding activities.
The remaining hours of our weekend was spent in Manila where we got at my PILs’ place at past 6PM already. The hubby prepared his stuff for work the next day while I busied myself making the bed and then getting online to do a cousin a favor by checking out musiciansfriend.com and two other sites of the same kind to compare electric guitar prices.
What did you do last weekend and with whom? Share naman dyan! 🙂
May you choose happiness always,
Ang ganda na ng Nuvali ngayon not unlike before, nakapunta ako last 1st week ata ng March, sobrang dame ng pinagbago.
Korek, sis! Paganda ng paganda. 🙂
We always pass by Nuvali when we go to Tagaytay but never gotten around to shopping. Haha

Mas maraming naka-sale sa Paseo de Sta. Rosa, andun kasi yung mga outlet stores. 🙂
That looks like a well-spent weekend! 🙂 Ang ganda ng parking for bikes in Nuvali! So many new places in the country now! I cant wait to visit home again. Konting tiis! 🙂
Yes, marami ka nang bagong papasyalan dito! 🙂
I went to Tagaytay with my husband and baby. We attended a house warming party.
Dapat talaga we should spend more time with our parents. 🙂
How was the weather in Tagaytay? Ang init sa Batangas at Sta. Rosa last Sunday, grabe! Korek, sis, kaya i-push na yang Bicol vacation na yan! 🙂
Mainit din pero medyo malamig pag gabi.
I see. Salamat sa follow-up reply, sis! 🙂
How’s the crowd in St. Pio Shrine, Batangas? We heard mass in St. Pio, Libis. Grabe ang tao last Sunday.
Nuvali looks wonderful! I can’t wait to visit the place when we go back there.
Yes, it is. Your girls will surely love it there! 🙂
Wow! Super loaded weekend. Winner yung after party the night before, nakaya nyo pang magbike nung morning! Hehe.
Napa-research ako about La Cocina de Tita Moning. Saw good reviews about it. Sayang naman that they’ll close down.
Ngayon ka pa lang nag-Banapple?!!! Isa sila sa favorite ko hehe. Always my first choice pag napadpad din ako sa Makati, kaso oo nga, laging puno kahit anong oras ata.
