Last weekend was a-okay. The hubby and I got to go home in Bacoor as early as Friday night. On Saturday, we went out to go to Alabang Town Center (ATC), say a prayer at the church beside it, and check out Mercado del Lago in Bicutan, Taguig City. We would go back to Manila on Sunday noon to have lunch with my in-laws at SM Manila and we would sleep earlier than usual to prepare ourselves physically for the coming work week.
satisfying the hubby’s craving for Rita’s custard 😛
my attempt at incorporating more greens into our weekend meals
these festive lights greeted us during our visit to Mercado del Lago
Mercado del Lago (Market by the Lake) opened just May of this year on C6 Road in Bicutan, Taguig City. As the name suggests, it is a food park by the lake. It even had stilt houses erected to complete the “by the lake” dining experience. Going there on a Saturday was kinda exhausting because of the heavy traffic. Food options were aplenty, though, and they were on the affordable side (PhP100-PhP200 per meal). There were also enough parking spaces so we didn’t regret bringing a car. Medyo malamok lang dahil nga tabi ng body of water pero sulit naman ang punta namin kasi madaming tao at masasarap ang pagkain.
this giant squid from Above Seafood Level was tasty and tender at just PhP180 (with java rice included)!
aside from the main hall, these stilt houses by the lake serve as dining area for Mercado del Lago customers
Have a beautiful week, friends! 🙂
May you choose happiness always,
