Divisoria Wedding Gowns

The fiancé and I were in Divisoria yesterday celebrating the Chinese New Year together with the maddening crowd canvassing gowns and suits for our upcoming wedding. After checking out several shops, we finally settled on a shop that gave us the best value for our money. I was quite ecstatic because we got a good deal and the price we paid for the whole package was lower than our estimated budget.

Indeed, you can find everything in Divisoria. Aside from it’s custom-made merchandise like the gowns and the suits we ordered, it has a wide variety of items sold by piece or in bulk. My eyes got tired drooling on so many products, from funny shirts and serious outfits (no pun intended) to cheap accessories and unique home decors.

Long Weekend Plans

Long weekend plans? Seriously, I don’t have any. At this point in my life, all I wanna do is take some rest whenever I can. I cherish my ‘me time’ moments and look forward to spending more time with myself doing some things that I’ve long wanted to do but don’t have the time to actually do them.

I have a thousand and one tasks that need to be accomplished with respect to my upcoming wedding. I have tons of things to do with my blogs (I’ve been neglecting most of them lately). I have weekly tasks in the office. I have on-call duties at my part-time work. I have familial responsibilities to attend to. Plus, I have to take care of myself to look good on my big day (which I think is the most important thing of all, haha).

Do You Make a Checklist?

I usually don’t, but when it comes to big tasks that need careful planning and attention, I do. Let’s admit it, checklists are very important to keep us focused and organized when preparing for something, say a big event or activity. We cannot afford to miss out on the important details just because we’ve forgotten about it. We have to remember them, and remembering them means having to list them all down on paper. Or in this age of technology, in our tablet or laptop.

For my wedding, I decided to make a checklist of all the things we need to do. I listed down everything both on paper and in my desktop. I like the organized look of Excel and how easy it can be edited. At the same time, I like my personal handwritten updates and corrections on paper. I dunno with you, but I don’t get confused working on both media.

Two Months To Go

Exactly two months from now, I’ll be walking down the aisle to marry the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. I still can’t believe the date is that near. I mean, we started planning our wedding seriously just two weeks months ago. We’re impulsive like that. Haha. Just kidding.

Right now, I feel like a gps trailer tracking device monitoring the movement of all things concerning our wedding. Well, I guess all bride-to-be’s can be paranoid like that, you know. We all want to have a perfect wedding, if there’s ever such a thing.

Multi-Tasking Girl

We’ve been literally swamped with work in the office over the past few days and I bet it will continue until next week. Or maybe until the end of the month. If I’m not mistaken, this is our busiest January in the office so far.

My desk is full of paperwork right now that need to be either submitted or sent to proper authorities. I seriously think I need some desk name plates because I doubt if my friends would still recognize me from afar, what with all these paper mess that surround me.

Busy, Busy

Last weekend was super busy. The fiancé and I visited our prospective principal sponsors to ask for their consent. Fortunately, they all agreed. Now we can finally have our wedding invitations made.

The days are passing by so quickly. I can already feel the pressure at this point. I just hope everything will turn out okay. We have so many things to do and we hope to beat our deadlines still standing on our two feet.
