While a lot of people are paying their bills through online banking, I have yet to apply the same practice on a regular basis. There’s no question about the convenience online banking gives when it comes to paying utility bills. You just open your online bank account and do transaction right then and there. It saves you a lot of time because you can do it in front of the PC anytime you want.
As for me, I only pay my bills through online banking when it’s the last day of payment and I have forgotten to pay for them at SM Bills Payment Center (I’m quite loyal to them). As much as possible, I don’t want to touch my money in the bank. Come to think of it, when I use the bank funds to pay my bills, then I will have to go the bank personally (or ask someone to do it for me) and deposit the same amount of money again to keep my old balance. It’s time-consuming, don’t you think? Unless I’m shopping online trying to buy some vintage tub (I love vintage and vintage-looking stuff!), I still prefer paying my bills in one go at the nearest bills payment center.
