Why I Read Blogs

I’m a blogger and I write for my blogs. I think I have around ten, but I don’t get to write for them all regularly. I have other things to do, you know. Like reading other people’s blogs. Yes, I read a lot of blogs that are owned and maintained by various individuals.

You can say I love blog hopping. I really do. Whenever I still have free time online, I read blogs. I read blogs because it’s my way of getting inspiration. I’m always inspired by others through their blogs. I think it has something to do with how they write and how they see things and share them for all the internet world to know. I dunno with you but reading stories of strangers never fail to educate, enrich and entertain me as a person. Unlike other readers, though, I only leave comments depending on my mood at that time and only if the topic leaves a big impact on me.

#002: 10 Things to Be Thankful for Last Week

Life is good. When you’re having worries, remember that God won’t let you down. If you wished for something and it was granted, thank Him. If you wished for something and it wasn’t granted, thank Him still. Sometimes, our wishes come true in our time (the exact time we wanted it) and other times, in God’s time. I think the secret to a happy life is to remain thankful no matter what. Last week was a beautiful week for me. And these are the 10 reasons why I am very thankful to God for last week’s turn of events:

1. Our rented house here in Manila is now a wifi zone. Now we could surf as much as we want, any time of the day (and night).
2. The new TV cabinet in our Cavite home has made our living room there more lively and complete.
3. I had the pleasure of trying out new restaurants along with the fiancee and my family. Our latest food trips were at Nanos SM Manila and Corniche, Diamond Hotel.

Simbang Gabi 2010

I started my day right today. I went with my mom, my sister and the boyfriend to church to attend the traditional simbang gabi (dawn mass). (Simbang Gabi in the Philippines starts on December 16 until December 24.) We each had a wish in mind and we hoped it would come true if and only if we get to complete the 9-day simbang gabi. Most Pinoys who attend simbang gabi have that agenda in mind. Haha. Seriously, I think it’s no big deal for we can always ask for something from God at any day and any time. But it’s been a sort of motivation for us to attend this religious activity so might as well let it be.
