Back in Manila

We were officially back home yesterday afternoon from a 4D 3N travel to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Words are not enough to explain how happy we are with our first international travel experience. I wish I had the energy to blog all about it but at present, I don’t have the drive and the will to do so. Maybe this week I’ll be able to publish some posts.

As for the photos, I’ve already uploaded our entire collection in FB. Right now, I just want to share my happiness with everyone for having conquered my imaginary fear of international travel. I am happy to report that I have made it to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and back to Manila (my beloved city!) alive and aiming for more travel adventures. I’m so proud of myself. Haha.

Bus Services Abroad

Airline, check. Hotel, check. Itinerary, still being finalized. Bus services, still looking. Ouch. I have yet to get the four of us bus seats for our first international travel in October. We’re going to Kuala Lumpur and would like to visit Singapore for a day so we need a good bus service to take us to the Lion city.

I initially wanted to get our bus seats from BusOnlineTicket.com because they have access to major bus service providers in Malaysia (and accept Paypal, too!) but a friend advised me the other day to try the bus services of Aeroline instead. She swore by it because she’s traveled with them for a couple times already and each ride has been pleasant and hassle-free for her.

What to Do in Infanta and Real, Quezon

This weekend, I am joining the fiancee and some friends for an out-of-town trip. We’re traveling by land using our own vehicles to visit the laidback towns of Infanta and Real, Quezon. We don’t have any itinerary to follow; I supposed it’s as good as saying “anything goes.” I don’t know of any cool things to do in these two places. All I know is that while there’s not much to see in Infanta, Real is home to some nice beaches. This sounds exciting to me. I can afford to be unfamiliar to a place so long as I’m with people who know it like the back of their hands because they were born and raised there. Haha.

I already packed my things last night and I’m ready to go. Do I sound excited? I really am. This is my first summer trip, after all. No amount of home baths, complete with good-smelling lotions and invigorating bath salts, can equal a seawater bath. Haha. It sucks, I know. This is what happens when you’re preparing for something bigger and better. You channel all your energies and resources into it and forget about all else. If you’ve been reading this blog for some time now, you must be well-aware of my upcoming first international travel. If you’re new here, find out all about it in October na lang. 🙂
