Last weekend was simple and ordinary. We were with my in-laws in Bacoor and we spent time together doing things like watching TV, washing the dishes, doing the laundry, chatting, laughing about trivial stuff, and of course, eating. Bonding with my in-laws also included going out to visit the mall and buy stuff and again, eat! I therefore conclude that aside from having much-needed rest and spending time with our loved ones, weekends are for things that do not require much focus and thought. Love it! Haha.
Weekend Story: Swimming in the Rain
Last weekend was a rainy weekend. There was no typhoon but the heavy rains that kept pouring on the ground felt like one. There was nothing more safe and convenient to do but to stay at home. We, however, was out early on Saturday to go swimming in Pansol for a cousin’s son’s birthday party. Family comes first, you know. Haha.
In fairness, nung nasa SLEX kami, wala masyadong ulan.
Weekend Story: Double Celebration at F Restaurant, F1 Hotel BGC
Last weekend was a blast. We had a double celebration in the family: Mame’s 62nd birthday and my PILs’ 45th wedding anniversary. From the initial plan to have a staycation at some hotel to the bright idea of a night swimming in Pansol, we ended up trooping to F1 Hotel on Saturday night for a dinner buffet. Ang hirap talaga pag magkakaiba ang schedule!
There’s not much review of the buffet offered by the F Restaurant (a.k.a. F All Day Dining) of F1 Hotel BGC online so I thought of sharing some of my insights here. Well, based from our experience, the buffet had a decent food selection for its discounted price. You know, just the right amount of well-prepared food to make you feel full and satisfied but way far from what Spiral by Sofitel or even Vikings and Buffet 101 offer.

Weekend Story: Father’s Day Celebration + A Few Other Stuff
Last weekend was memorable and fun. We spent time with family and created lots of happy memories with them. We were truly grateful for everything.
The hubby was back to school again on Saturday for his final stint in grad school. If things will go well, he’ll graduate in October. We’re both crossing our fingers on that.

Weekend Story: Couple Time + Family Time
Last weekend was exhausting but fun.
The hubby and I spent Friday night partying at some hotel courtesy of an invitation from a friend (that I couldn’t turn down). We left the place as soon as we could because we started getting sleepy already from all the food and drinks we consumed. Haha.
Weekend Story: Pope Francis and Family Bonding
Last long weekend can be aptly called the Papal weekend. The apostolic visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines was phenomenal, a once in a lifetime opportunity that’s filled with happy memories for our country and our people.
On Saturday night, the hubby and I fetched my in-laws at Mall of Asia (MOA). After that, we had a quick dinner at Solaire’s food court upon my recommendation. It was their first time there and I was glad they liked the food. Except for that meetup, we hadn’t left the house and were just glued to the TV screen all throughout that memorable weekend.
