DIY Fringe Necklace

I had some free time last night and used it by doing something creative. I made a DIY fringe necklace using only four materials: old silver chain, scrap denim fabric, beads and black thread. I’m so happy it turned out really nice and even got some compliments from my workmates this morning! Yes, I made it last night and wore it to work today (excited much). Haha.

It’s not so photogenic but I’m telling you it’s gorgeous in the flesh. Haha. I wanna make more of this in the future. My only problem is I don’t get to have as much free time as I’d like these days. I also want to buy more materials in Quiapo or in Divisoria so the next time I make accessories, I won’t be limited to the scrap/recycled materials I have at home.

Preoccupied

Have you ever experienced being at a certain place, like your workplace, for instance, and suddenly you feel the urge to do a lot of things which can only be done in other places away from your present position? That’s what I’m feeling right now. I wanna do (and that’s with a very excited and positive attitude!) the following things right at this moment:

2. Change my foreign currencies (from my recent trip abroad) to local ones. I tried to do this last Sunday but I was not able to because I was hoping the forex rates would still rise in my favor in the coming days. Not so possible, I know.

A Necklace Business

I have this list of dreams in an Excel file kept inside my PC which I update whenever I think of a new dream I want for myself. One of the dreams I have the pleasure of keeping alive in my heart and mind is putting up a necklace business. This is known only to a few but I have a penchant for necklaces. I love wearing them and I love making them, too. Yes, I can make my own necklace made from scratch or from recycled materials.

Actually, I already have a name for my necklace business but I won’t tell anybody just yet. Clue: it’s a secret name derived from a brand of headphones. Haha. Soon I will make my necklace business dream come true. I will sell different kinds of necklaces, from bead necklaces to stainless steel necklaces, from those made from conventional design pieces to those created from indigenous materials. I will make them all and change the world of fashion with my necklaces.
