Fun Weekend in the Suburb

Last weekend was fun. My mom, along with my two younger sisters, joined us in our Bacoor home. We spent the weekend doing the usual daily activities but in a fresher and more relaxed environment of the suburb. This is the life.

We cooked, ate, watched cable TV, surfed the net, played NBA games on PS3, walked around the village, and chatted about almost anything under the sun, from grocery shopping and wonder bras to child rearing and steel buildings canada. Fun Saturday

Weekend at home is always fun. Like this Saturday when the workers are still here finishing our back extension which now serves as our kitchen. I saw the improvements last night and was really pleased. I didn’t know such a small space would transform into something beautiful. My FIL is talking with the workers while my one and only SIL is busy tinkering with her new Blackberry phone. And me? So far, we’re done with tile flooring and back extension and we also bought some furnishings and home appliances to make life easier for our parents. We have more home improvement projects lined up, but we’re doing it one project at a time.
