Finally, after almost half a day spent on walking, riding buses, entering and exciting airports, riding the lrt and walking again, we have reached our hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Until now, I can’t believe we have come this far. For the four of us who are all first-timers as international travelers, this is one tiring but fulfilling feat.
We are just so happy and thankful we arrived here safe and sound. It was a blessing the Malaysian Immigration guys didn’t give us a hard time. We passed through their counters with ease and with only a few basic questions asked. I love them already!
Malaysia is such a gentle and warm nation. The people whom we had the courage to ask for direction were very accommodating, especially the staff of Mayview Glory Hotel where we are staying. Two things that caught my attention here were the efficient train system and the lush greenery that still surrounded the concrete jungle that was Kuala Lumpur.
This is just our first day here and I’m having a great time already. I so look forward in exploring the city very soon!
