The fiancee has long been bugging me to run, and recently I have given in to his plea. But only after I had him promised me that he’d run and not just jog or brisk walk like what he was used to doing before. After receiving our mid-year bonus last month, we got ourselves new Adidas running shoes. Each pair costed us a little less than P3,000. We both got black running shoes because we thought the color was low-maintenance and wouldn’t get dirty easily as compared to white.

What I love about my new Adidas running trainers is how soft and comfy the soles are. I don’t know what Soltec, the word printed on both sides of my shoes, means. I am guessing it stands for “sole technology.” Haha. Whatever. Anyway, I got this description of my exact same shoes from Amazon:

So far, the use of our running shoes has been limited to running around our neighborhood, a walking-running event for a cause at the Mall of Asia grounds, and a brisk walk at Rizal Park which happened just last night. I hope we could do more running in the future. We might participate in more fun runs soon and we might bump into each other pa. Why not? 🙂
Got the same shoes as my starter running/walking shoes, actually my “first running shoes” and I am loving it. Using it for a 30-60 minute walk/run in the park with my wife and daughter around 🙂
Wow, that’s nice to hear. I hope to continue our jogging, too. We stopped last month because we had a lot of things to do. 🙂
