When you’re married, it’s still very important to have couple time. You know, that time when it’s just you and your husband/wife. It could be a dinner date, a visit to the spa for some pampering, a joint shopping trip or even just a plain sightseeing together at a park or some place romantic.
Personally speaking, I think this is very doable. The hubby and I just have to figure out the best time for us to have our own couple time. Normally, we go out during weeknights and weekends. I dunno if it will be hard to go out once we have kids to take care of, but I know of other married couples with children who still find time to go out together, just them.
I guess it all boils down to just having the will and effort to do it. Couple time doesn’t really have to be costly. If you’re on a budget, like us, you can always look for other ways to spend quality time with each other without spending a lot. The hubby and I like to try new restaurants and visit new places, but only if we have spare money to spend.
Since we don’t have kids yet, our stay at our Bacoor home during weekends can easily be transformed into lots of couple time. We do all sorts of things there so spending quality time with each other is really not much of a problem for us, so far. 🙂
