I got introduced to Rubi Shoes through Cotton On. They carry Rubi shoes in their stores and after buying two pairs (camel wedges and white sandals) in 2013 –which are both still alive today –I made it a point to check out Cotton On occasionally for new shoe designs. (My fave branches are Cotton On Rob Magnolia and Rob Manila.)
When I found out Rubi Shoes has stand-alone stores in Rob Magnolia and Alabang Town Center (ATC), I’d visit them whenever I’d make a trip to those malls.
The nice thing about Cotton On Group and Suyen Corporation’s Rubi Shoes is that they have a wide, trendy, and cool range of shoes to satisfy everyone’s shoe cravings. They have a great selection of flats (which I love!), pumps, espadrilles, wedges, and flip-flops, among others. They even sell bags, sunnies, earrings, and more accessories.
My recent Rubi Shoes purchase is composed of these three pairs of flats which cost me a total of P1,200:
For P400 a pair, I think they’re quite cheap. Buying just a pair will set you back P799. Not a good deal so the best thing to do is to buy three pairs talaga. Actually, I used to buy them at 2 for P1,200 so when I saw the new promo, I didn’t hesitate to avail of it.
As of today, I have a total of eight pairs of Rubi shoes and I use them alternately for work and for going out. See the black flats above? I also have it in silver, white, and red. Haha.
Now, are they durable and comfy to wear? Yes, they are! Based on my experience, the flats have thin soles but they don’t break easily. I usually wear my flats all day (they are very light!) and my feet don’t hurt at all. And since I try to use them alternately along with my other shoes, the chance of them breaking or getting worn out is lesser.
Note: Rubi Shoes also has shoes sold at lower (P200 for plain and strappy sandals) and higher prices (2 for P2,000). In this post, I’m only talking about their 3 for P1,200 shoes which are mainly composed of flats, sandals, and canvas shoes/espadrilles.
Do you also have Rubi shoes? How do you find them? 🙂
I first heard of Rubi Shoes from my younger brother. And both of you have the same conclusions about the quality of their shoes. His girlfriend owns a few pairs of Rubi Shoes, too, so he convinced me to try it out. He said that it would be perfect for the preggy me. Haha! BTW, there’s also a Rubi branch in Rob Manila 🙂
Oh, may Rubi shoes pala sa Rob Manila? Ang saya! Mas malapit. Hehe. Yes, sis, you should get some flats from there, ang gaan at ang lambot sa paa.
Hehe. Okay, thanks, sis! 🙂
Anak ng takte!! Meron pala sa Rob! I will check it out. 🙂 Hahahah!
Great find!
Sometimes buying inexpensive shoes leads me to spending more dahil hindi maganda quality, like those beige and black flats I bought from Zalora
They are so uncomfortable. Iniisip ko kung papalitan ko ba sila even when I just bought them. I only keep two pairs of flats lang kasi, one beige and one black.
Hmm…what I noticed about Zalora shoes (the shoes under the brand Zalora) is that they’re durable but heavy and not comfy to wear. It must be the materials they used. 🙂
Will check them out. Gusto ko yung loafers mo 😀
Cute nung loafers sa paa, sis. Go! 🙂
It’s not bad for the price.I only own one pair of flat shoes,I need heels since I’m short.Lol
I only wear heels when I feel like dressing up (which is seldom). Haha. Flats are heaven-sent for me. 🙂
Wow ang gaganda ng mga shoes! Kaso nasa Shopping Fast ako for shoes this year! 😉
Awww, haha. Last year during my shopping fast, umiwas ako sa mga shoe stores dahil shoes ang isa sa weaknesses ko. 🙂
Gondo!!!! Love ko yung black. Mas maganda nga siguro yun in red no!! Tapos yung espadrille din type ko, gossshhH!! next time edel size 8 ako ha? hahahahaha! Kidding
Sana magpost na comment ko I don’t know what’s wrong.
True! Hehe. 🙂
I don’t own a pair yet. Haven’t tried anything from Cotton On actually. Pero mukhang mapapa-visit ako soon. Haha! Type ko yung black and brown flats mo. Simple yet chic! Great and wise find indeed!
Thank you, Kriska! Visit one, I’m sure you’ll find something there to your liking. 🙂
Ang dami kong nalalaman! Will check this brand out when I go to RP or Rob Magnolia. 3 for P1,200 is very good!
I need some new shoes na kasi 🙂
Yes, sis, good deal yan! 🙂
Nice! Im a ballet shoe girl too even if it means using it even when I’m in my office attire.
Pareho tayo, sis. Hindi talaga ako comfy pag high heels, kaya paminsan minsan lang yun or pag may special occasions. 🙂
I have been an avid collector of this brand too nung nasa Dubai kami kasi comfortable suotin (I am a fan of their flats and sandals).
Unfortunately for me now, ewan ko kung dahil sa humity, nagkaron ng infection ung paa ko and the doctor advised na kelangan plastic-type shoes / sandals lang pwede kong suotin 🙁
So they have it in Dubai, too? Wow. 🙂
Ang cute naman niyan! Likey-likey!
Thanks, Jill! 🙂
Hi! The 3 for 1200 promo is available in what particular branch? 🙂 what I usually see kasi is 2 for 1200 lang. Hoping to buy 3 pairs as well! Hehe
Sa ATC po. Sa Rob Manila din, merong 3 for P1,200. 🙂
I see. Will visit Rob Manila then. Thank you!! 🙂
