Last weekend was all about family bonding. My mom and my sister Jodie suddenly decided to join the hubby and me in Bacoor. I told them we didn’t have any plans (read: we’d just stay at home) and they said they were fine with it. I really didn’t want to go out; I just wanted to rest after having had a bout with cold and cough recently.
We reached Bacoor on Saturday afternoon. We were supposed to attend the 7PM anticipated mass at St. Jerome Emiliani and Sta. Susana Parish in Alabang but just when we were about to hit the road, it rained real hard. Mag-iisang oras na, umuulan pa rin. Kaloka. Ang ending, na-miss namin ang mass!
So, we just went straight to Alabang Town Center (ATC). We had a quick dinner at the foodcourt there, picked up some items at the supermarket, and drove back to Bacoor.
with two of my favorite persons in the world
When we got home, we watched a movie together in the living room. Lone Survivor was such a gripping film. Worth it ang puyat!
Our Sunday started late. The hubby and I, along with Mame, went to the wet market to buy fresh meat and veggies for our meals that day. We also dropped by the church to say a prayer. The rest of the day was spent doing the usual stuff: washing clothes, cleaning the house, cooking, eating, sleeping, chatting, laughing our hearts out to Mame’s funny antics and anecdotes, watching TV, surfing the net, and just lazing around the house. Everybody happy!
Last weekend has passed by too quickly but I’m not complaining because a new weekend is coming soon! 🙂
May you choose happiness always,
Awwww..kainggit! I also miss bonding with my mom and my sister. And just like you, pag wala naman talagang plan, we’d end up hoarding chips and drinks and would bond over movies and non-stop laughter and chikahan. Haha! :p

Waaaah, korek ka dyan Kriska, the best ang chikahan at tawanan na may kasamang maraming junk food! 🙂
We went to Regina Rica and St Pio in Tanay to offer prayers! Kulang na kulang ang weekend kapag andame mu gusto puntahan.
Gusto ko rin makavisit sa Regina Rica! True, sis, kulang ang oras pag madami nakaline up na papasyalan. 🙂
Sarap ng weekend na yan ah. Yung tipong puro pahinga lang. Ako kasi si gala din eh. Punta dito punta dyan hehehe. I can’t do all those on a weekday kaya bawi lang sa weekend although some weekends, nanahimik na lang sa bahay kasi walang budget hehehe
Same with us, Jen. Pag may konting budget, larga, pag waley, bahay lang. 🙂
Awww… I also miss bonding with my mom and sister.
Apir tayo, Em! 🙂
My weekend was packed. Pero I can’t blog. Miss na miss ko na magsulat kaso yung bulilit ko parang ball of energy. Your sister is parang photocopy mo.
Good luck sa paghanap ng time to blog, sis. Hehe. Korek, napagkakamalan pa kamo kaming mag-ina. Kainis, hindi man lang mag-ate. 10 years ang age gap namin. 🙂
namiss ko inay ko, i used to work in Alabang before, favorite hang out din namin ni hubby ang ATC. enjoy the rest of the week.
Awww, mothers are the best. Naku, ang ganda na lalo sa ATC ngayon, andami na shops, hindi ko pa naikot lahat hehe. Thanks, Giday, same to you. 🙂
Your weekend is always full of fun with your loved ones!
Yes, making the most of our time during weekends. 🙂
My favorite kind of weekend.
Apir, TPS! 🙂
What a fun weekend! I missed bonding with my sister. We can’t go out mush because of the baby.
Oo nga, it seems to me close na close pa naman kayo ng sister mo. Siguro paglaki-laki ni baby mo. 🙂
