Weekend Story: More Crocheting + Christmas Shopping with Family

Last weekend flew by so quickly. Before I knew it, it was already time to go back to work. But it’s okay because I can’t imagine doing nothing all week. I need to be productive so I’d have a reason to relax and do fun things after. Haha.

I spent most of Saturday crocheting. I’ve finally finished my first project. It was supposed to be for me but my measurements were wrong. Very wrong! Ang liit ng nagawa ko, pang-baby na halos! Lakas nga ng tawa ni Mame, inaasar ako, hahaha. I’m going to give it to one of my godchildren who’s still a baby. I’m 100% sure it will fit her.

Crocheting, like any other crafts that use the hands, is indeed labor of love. My hands were tired and painful after every session (two to five hours max) but I knew I was making something beautiful so I pushed through it. It was fulfilling to see my very first crochet project even if it was just a teeny tiny piece of clothing. I consider it a work of art and so I’m happy and satisfied.

I’ve also started on my second project. This time it’s for me na talaga. Good luck to me!

The hubby and I drove home in Bacoor on Saturday night. We were with my SIL Albie who requested to sleep over because she had to attend a birthday party somewhere in Dasmariñas. We would then go back to Manila on Sunday morning to meet with our family for Christmas shopping at Landmark Makati.

Among my purchases (which were lesser this year than last year’s) are these two lovely necklaces:

Medyo namamahalan pa ako dyan sa nasa right pero nagustuhan ko talaga kaya binili ko na rin. Haha.

Have a productive and fulfilling week, friends! 🙂

May you choose happiness always,
