Last weekend was fun and a bit exhausting. On Saturday afternoon, the hubby and I met with his thesis consultant again and after that, we picked up our good friend Carmela from her house and we all drove to our Bacoor home. The next day, Sunday, we heard mass at St. John Bosco Church in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna before meeting up with my superfriend Nice at the nearby Paseo de Sta. Rosa. It was Carmela’s first time there and so we were quite excited to show her around. We explored the place and did some shopping and after an hour or so, we transferred to Nuvali-Solenad complex for more strolling (and shopping, you bet!). While I had no intention to shop, I ended up getting a few things from this trip. Ang hirap pag may kasamang nag-prepare talagang magshopping doon (hello hubby and superfriend Nice!), hahaha.
Here are photos from the weekend pasyal of the Tropang Ramen:
Bannaple’s famous Banoffee Pie
Bannaple’s Chicken Parmigiana was delish!
the posh and spacious Solenad mall
because the hubby was literally swept off his feet by these shoes!
new bike saddle to celebrate the hubby’s bike’s one year of existence
these shoes from Liliw, Laguna which I got from one of the bazaar stalls at Solenad were a steal at just PHP199 each!
another steal: black pants from Giordano Outlet store in Solenad priced at just PHP750!
by the man-made lagoon at Nuvali that’s filled with kois
early dinner at Conti’s Nuvali
Conti’s Pasta Negra was divine (do try it if you fancy the flavors of squid ink and raw garlic!)
Happy Monday, friends! π
May you choose happiness always,
We were supposed to buy a house in Nuvali right after we got married. We just ditched the idea and bought one in Manila instead. Our jobs are in Manila, and we thought that it would be hard to have our parents over to take care of our (then) future kid/s. There are still days when Boyet and I wonder how life would have been for us had we chose to live in Nuvali. Buti na lang din hindi. Kasi malamang, laman kami ng outlet stores every single day! :p
Rosa, kasi dyan nakatira Tita ko at nakatira ako sa kanila dati for more than a year (pero now sa BiΓ±an na sila, but Sta.
Progressive and laidback at the same time ang Sta. Rosa. π
OMG!!! The shoes!!!! And they say that shoes from Liliw are super tibay daw like Marikina-levels. Also, ngayon ko lang nakita ang new blog layout mo girl. I like it! π
Thank you, sis! Default theme yan, pero nice diba, isipin ko pa if babaguhin ko or ike-keep. π
Hehe ang cute naman nung ‘tropang ramen’ π
Thanks, Jackie! π
