Given our financial capacity at present, I think it’s only appropriate that we bought a tiny house. The mortgage payments are lower and the insurance premiums are smaller as compared to those of a big property.
I love having a tiny house. It’s easy to clean and easy to maintain. If something gets broken, we could easily have it repaired or replaced. Like when we had our built-in cabinet organizer updated, we didn’t spend much because it’s just a small one, too.
Another thing I like about having a tiny house is when it’s time to do some general cleaning. I know I won’t be exhausted at the end of the day because there’s not much space and stuff to clean. For a lazy person (but only when it comes to household chores!) like me, that’s already a big deal.
Having a small space is also aligned to my goal of simple living. And if I’d be more serious about embracing a minimalist lifestyle in the future, having a tiny house is definitely a good start in that direction. 🙂
It’s really a challenge if your house has limited space. In fact, I am currently experiencing that. I just bought a bunk bed the other but to my surprise, the bed doesn’t fit the extension room. Now I need to call a professional to help us adjust the length of the bed. Hayy.. added gastos pa! 🙁
I guess it becomes a challenge having a limited space when you have children. Oh no, added gastos nga yang sa bed nyo. Hehe. 🙂
We have a condo so I appreciate what you mean about easy to clean and maintain. The older I get, the more wala na ako energy. Tama ka, conducive for a minimalist lifestyle kasi kung minsan, I am tempted to buy something napipigil ako kasi walang paglagyan. LOL
Oh well, sabi nga, the home is where the heart is 🙂
Korek, mas marami pa pwede paggamitan ng energy like cooking! Hehe. 🙂
Naku sana nga kami we’ll have our own place, kahit tiny lang, soon! Mahirap makipisan eh. 🙁
Good luck on that, sis. Kaya nyo yan. I say the earlier, the better. 🙂
Our house in Laguna is tiny, and you can just imagine my problems — me (a hoarder)+tiny space=baliw-baliwan.
While the apartment we’re staying in is bigger than our Laguna home is bigger, parang kulang na kulang pa rin sa space. Like I said, hoarder. Maybe I should post them online. 🙂
Yeah, sell some of them. Okay yun. But good luck I’m sure you’ll have a hard time choosing which ones to sell and which ones to keep. Hehe. 🙂
