my life, my joy, my dreams
We’ve been literally swamped with work in the office over the past few days and I bet it will continue until next week. Or maybe until the end of the month. If I’m not mistaken, this is our busiest January in the office so far.
My desk is full of paperwork right now that need to be either submitted or sent to proper authorities. I seriously think I need some desk name plates because I doubt if my friends would still recognize me from afar, what with all these paper mess that surround me.
So far, so good. If you’d ask me how’s my life been going these days, that will be my exact answer. I am just happy that blessings continue to come way and that less problems are popping up in my life.
I have a job that pays well. It may not be so secure, but at least it never fails to teach me to be appreciative of each day in the workplace. There may be other similar jobs out there that pay more, but the satisfaction I get from my job wouldn’t compare with any of them. I just want a fulfilling but stress-free job and the job I have right now definitely fits the bill.
Last week was quite busy. I’d like to think I did a lot of work (both in the office and at the restaurant) and enjoyed every minute of it. It was only during the weekend that I got to relax. Life is still good.
Here are 10 random things that made me grateful last week:
1. A job interview
2. The fiancee’s mom’s 63rd birthday
3. New accessories
4. Home-serviced massage for mom
5. Done with a monthly task at work
6. Watched two more episodes of QSD (32 episodes left, haha)
7. Inspection and turn-over of keys for the fiancee’s house
8. Finished my third IPL session
9. Slept for eight long hours on Saturday night
10. Malling on Sunday with family

Tomorrow is gonna be a busy day for the fiancee. He’s scheduled to conduct a thorough inspection of his new house in Bacoor, Cavite. To show my support, I’m going with him. His family is coming with us, too.
I’m just so happy about the developments in my fiance’s life. One by one, his dreams are coming true. First was the car and now, the house. I wonder what will be next on the list. Haha. Seriously, he’s one hardworking guy and I think he deserves all the blessings coming his way.
