Last weekend was restful and so we felt grateful, hence, the title of this post. Haha. More time with family means having to do things with them such as going to the wet market, doing the grocery, going to church to attend mass, and just bonding with them. Spending most of our weekend at home these past months has proven to be beneficial to the hubby and me, psychologically and financially speaking. To more weekends like this!
Weekend Story: More Down Time at Home
Last weekend passed by quickly. I guess weekends are fast like that so you really have to make the most of your time. In our case, it’s more of down time. The hubby and I got to rest and spend time with our extended families. Aside from shopping for food and hearing the mass, we didn’t do anything outside the house.
Weekend Story: More Rest and Family Time
Last weekend was ordinary but fun. The hubby and I spent it resting and bonding with our extended families at home. I think we only went out to go to church and the supermarket and to dine out because my sister Nyam wanted to treat us to dinner and coffee (who are we to decline, right?). I love weekends like this that don’t require a lot of thinking and planning. Busy weekends are okay with me, too, as long as I’m doing things with the people I love.
Weekend Story: Mama Tining’s Birthday Dinner + Chillax at Home
Last long weekend was steady and quiet. We just left the house on Saturday night to dine out and celebrate my MIL’s 71st birthday and spent the rest of the weekend at home. Oh, except for the hubby who had to go to work on Monday for an important task that needed to be done on time.

Weekend Story: Homebound
Last weekend was spent mostly at home. It was another boring weekend that we enjoyed to the fullest. I am actually thankful for the opportunity to laze around and rest. Aside from cooking our meals, I just went the Netflix-and-chill route the entire Saturday, hahaha. I got to finish a TV series and still had time to play games (Tongits and Toy Blast) on my iPad Mini. Meanwhile, my extended family (except for my father who opted to stay home) was having a grand time at some posh resort in Puerto Galera for our cousin’s birthday celebration.
Weekend Story: Eat, Sleep, Repeat
Last weekend was quite boring and laidback but relaxing nonetheless. We ate, slept, and repeated the cycle a couple of times. We only went out of the house when we heard mass and saw the doctor for a medical check-up (all’s good, thank God!). Easy and slow weekends like this comes one in every 10 so we are always grateful.
