Simbang Gabi 2010

I started my day right today. I went with my mom, my sister and the boyfriend to church to attend the traditional simbang gabi (dawn mass). (Simbang Gabi in the Philippines starts on December 16 until December 24.) We each had a wish in mind and we hoped it would come true if and only if we get to complete the 9-day simbang gabi. Most Pinoys who attend simbang gabi have that agenda in mind. Haha. Seriously, I think it’s no big deal for we can always ask for something from God at any day and any time. But it’s been a sort of motivation for us to attend this religious activity so might as well let it be.

When we got home from the church, I took a nap before going to work. I had some free time in the office so I decided to update some of my blogs. Actually, I didn’t write anything (well, except here). I just uploaded some photos to several posts that have been up for a while already. I know it was too lazy of me to create posts without images, especially when they required some in the first place. But it was all done and so I just made up for lost time. Better late than never, eh?

Back to the simbang gabi, it’s sad that there were no vendors selling bibingka and puto bumbong (both are rice cakes in different forms) outside the church we went to. I miss the churches in our province of Nueva Ecija because they always have them. 🙁
