Whatta Saturday

I’m glad to have accomplished a lot last Saturday. It pays to wake up early. It pays more when you take your daily schedule seriously. As early as 6:00 a.m. Saturday, the boyfriend and I were already on the road and Cavite-bound with our backseat passengers: Dad, Mom and my sister N. We sent them to my parent’s place in Cavite. Dad and Mom had been with us here in Manila since end of February and it was time for them to go back to their permanent abode. My sister N, on the other hand, joined them to spend her semestral break there.

The trip was in great timing because the boyfriend and I were also attending a tourism seminar and food tasting at Republic of Cavite in Trece Martires City. The program there would start at 9:00 a.m. After arriving at our Cavite home and unloading the car trunk’s contents, we immediately left for our next activity for the day. We were the first participants to arrive in the venue. Cool. We killed time by taking photos of our surroundings. Soon after, my fellow bloggers started coming in.

The event was attended by a considerable number of people and the food they served to us was aplenty and oh-so delicious, if I may add. As in I had to control myself from eating more than I could take.

At around 2:30 p.m., we hit the road once again and went to Bacoor, also in Cavite. We checked out the boyfriend’s house whose construction was ongoing. I knew he felt better after seeing this…

The house is expected to be completed by May 2011. Hmmmm, I wonder whom he will live in the house in the future with? Haha.

At 4:00 p.m., we’re on our way back to Manila already. We were with fellow bloggers Mee-I, Irishell and Superf. The three girls and I were off to Megatent in Pasig City to cover another event, the announcement of winners of the Avida Towers Centera 3D Street Painting Festival.

Wow, what a busy Saturday that was! I went home late and exhausted but it was all worth it. I love my life in Manila because there’s always something to look forward to each day! *wink*
