Last weekend was a blast. It started a wee bit early for me, too. I spent Friday night until Saturday morning at Grand Prix Hotel & Suites Manila for a bloggers event. The hotel was kind enough to accommodate us 12 bloggers for a night of familiarization (of the hotel), chow, booze and videoke. The place was cozy and the rates were affordable, I suggest you check it out one time. I loved it there.
When lunch time of Saturday arrived, I went with my fellow bloggers to Alabang Town Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa City to partake of the delightful seafood feast at Blackbeard’s Seafood Island. I was so stuffed with the huge amount of food I ate that I intentionally skipped dinner when I got home. Or did I? Whatever, all I can remember is that I had fun and still had energy for the next day which was a Sunday.
Ooopps, I almost forgot that after our big lunch in Alabang, we also attended Dole’s My Superfruit Day at the Music Hall of Mall of Asia. Despite the fact that the heavy rains ruined the event and no amount of fresh pineapple juice could save it, it was still effective in bringing a more festive atmosphere into the mall and in reaffirming Dole’s position as one of the top players in the healthy beverage market.
It’s only Thursday here in Manila, but I’m already looking forward to another awesome weekend. This is the life!
