Quick Binondo Trip

Last Sunday afternoon, the hubby and I made a quick trip to Binondo to use our dining vouchers for The Original Salido Restaurant on Ongpin St. It was supposed to be a merienda but since we intentionally didn’t have lunch for the unlimited dimsum waiting for us, it turned out to be a late, long lunch.

For P299 per person, we had an eat-all-you-can dimsum at the restaurant. There were nine kinds on offer and we tried them all. Haha. Among them, my favorites were the hakaw, siomai and bean curd roll. We also ordered Yang Chow rice to go with everything. Our dining vouchers also included drinks and desserts. We got red iced tea for our drinks and had mango sago and almond lychee to cap off our dimsum-loaded lunch.

Before we went home, I stopped over one of the sidewalk stalls selling fruits and veggies. I bought sweet potatoes at just P50 per kilo. All in all, it was a fun and delicious trip. I hope we could go back soon as I’d love to try the other restaurants in Binondo. 🙂
