Part of our short Bohol vacation last March 14 to 19, 2015 was a side trip to the beach. The hubby and I had a day tour at Panglao Island Nature Resort and Spa (PINRS). We initially wanted to stay overnight but our crazy schedule didn’t allow it. It was perfectly okay because after having a small chat with the lifeguard by the pool side, we found out we couldn’t afford an overnight accommodation there, anyway. Rooms start at P10,000 per night including dinner and breakfast. Ouch.
The day tour rate of PINRS is P550 per head, the P400 of it being consumable. Laking tipid, diba? It’s like we just paid P150 for the entrance and use of amenities, which I have to say, were very satisfactory. Let our pictures show you my point:
As for their food, they have a decent selection. Prices range from P150 to P500. You just go to their in-house restaurant when you feel like eating and order away. They ask for a 10% service charge for the food and when you opt to eat your meals by the pool or by the beach, it goes up to 20%. Not bad, right?
I think PINRS has seen better days but it still is a very nice resort. During our visit, the pool and the beach are still in terrific condition. The sand was fine (but not powdery fine as in Boracay’s!) and the water was clear and teeming with small fish. The sea floor had sand as well and not rocks as in other Philippine beaches.
Also, the service was warm and the staff, eager to please. We had a great time there swimming in the infinity pool, walking by the beach, checking out the man-made islet and of course, eating!
I highly recommend this lovely place for a day tour. Sulit sya! As in. 🙂

Price is kinda steep pero mukhang sulit nga! The place looks divine! I’ve never been to Bohol, but my dad has (he made one of the resorts there) and he has nothing but praises for Bohol especially in Panglao. Hopefully I can visit there too and enjoy as you guys did. Happy 3 years to you and your hubby! Oh, and my condolences for your lola.

Thank you, Kriska! Kaya nga sabi ko day tour lang kami. Haha. Yes sis, ang ganda ng Bohol, yung mga tourist attractions nila pati beaches. Punta kayo dun ng partner mo pagbalik nyo Pinas. 🙂
I’ve been to Dumaluan Beach Resort years ago. If I’m not mistaken, it’s also part of Panglao. The white beach is simply breathtaking! It’s like getting a less crowded and more quiet piece of Boracay. Ang ganda ganda ng Pilipinas! 🙂

Tama ka, Panglao pa rin. Ay oo naman, it’s more beautiful and fun in the Philippines talaga! 🙂
WOWWWW!! Nainggit ako as in. I have been to bohol pero sa ibang resort kami nag stay which is cheaper dito. Although sulit nga talaga yung bayad nyo for a day tour ha! Ganda!!
Wow, ang ganda dyan ms edel, panalo yan 🙂
Naku, super enjoy, Grace! Next year sana makabalik ulit kami ng Bohol! 🙂

Go, sis! Mag-eenjoy si FabSkye dyan. 🙂
Been there in 2004. Tagal na. We stayed 3D 2N. It’s my favorite beach so far. Hindi pa kasi ako nakakapunta sa Bora.
Glad to know that, sis! Love ko rin ang Bohol eh. 🙂
The coupon you have, kasali na po ba yan sa spa nila?
Nope.
