UPDATE: I finally got a copy of the whole interview from ANC. Click here to watch it. Thank you. π
Last May 23rd, I saw a comment from a certain ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) staff on this blog post I wrote last May 6th. I also got the same message on my FB messenger. Apparently, ANC On The Money wanted me to guest on their show because of the said blog post. I initially wanted to decline the invitation as I was shy in person and I never thought I could do it. (I’m not even an RFP or someone who’s an authority on personal finance, so why me?) But the hubby convinced me otherwise. I later realized it was a once in a lifetime opportunity so I better give it a go or I’d regret it forever. Haha.
The taping of the episode where I guested in as a resource person happened on May 25th. I was presented as a blogger (of Life in Manila). I only had two days of preparation but I still did my best to answer the guide questions given to me via email on the evening of May 24th. Ngaragan lang ang peg, diba? But everything turned out just fine so thank you God and thank you to my prayer warriors (you know who you are)!!!
Here are some BTS photos the hubby took:
at the dressing room upon arrival
the fierce-but-deep-inside-trying-to-fight-anxiety look
the floor director and some crew prepping up for the taping
waiting for the camera to start rollin’
with the hubby and Edric Mendoza, host of ANC On the Money
The episode was finally aired last June 7th, 10:30AM on ANC channel with a replay the next day, 2:30AM. For those who haven’t seen it yet and are quite curious how I look and sound on TV (hahaha), here’s a part of my interview — just click the photo below and it will redirect you to the video uploaded by ABS-CBN News on You Tube:
I believe the video will soon disappear to be replaced by new content so enjoy it while it lasts! Anyway, I already asked my contact from ANC for a copy of my interview for posterity’s sake. I’ll find a way on how I could upload it online once I receive it.
Again, thank you ANC On the Money for having me on the show. Thank you very much also to all my family and friends (both online and offline) who really took time out of their busy schedule to watch the episode on TV (including the replay) and on I Want TV (streaming). You made my heart swell with gratitude! Kilig to the bones talaga ako sa effort nyo! God bless you all! π
May you choose happiness always,
Way to go sis! I hope people will be aware of how to spend money that they don’t still have!
Thank you, sis! Yes, let’s hope for that and maybe help other people, too, in being wiser with their money. π
Wow! As in wow na wow! It was because of ANC On The Money that I held on to my cable subscription. There’s a replay every 11PM kasi dati so pinapanood ko sya bago ako matulog. However, they changed schedule so I finally let go of my cable. It’s my favorite show! And Sir Edric is great in hosting it! I wish to see him in person someday! Hehehe.
And congratulations! Grabe how the world works now no? Just one blog post can open doors to opportunities unexpectedly. Can’t wait to watch it. Tonight hehe. But I’m sure you did great! Congratulations again! π
Thank you, Mylene! Awwww, fave show mo pala ang ANC On the Money. Sana mas marami pa manuod ng show nila kasi very informative and enriching talaga. Oo naman, magkikita rin kayo someday! I did just fine, not great, hehehe. π
Congrats ulit!
Mas pogi ba sa personal si Edric Mendowwza? hehe. Galing niya noh?
Thank you, sis! Yes, at flawless ang skin! I told him I read his wife’s blog, natuwa sya. Blogger din kasi ang wife nya. He’s very articulate and warm, too. π
Congrats,EDel!

I luv your fierce look! π
Awww, thank you, Aggie! Sana nga. π
Iba ang voice mo sa na-imagine ko. π
Way to go! Being financially “matino” has its perks, aside from the obvious ones.
Psssst, Diane, bawasan na natin ang pagka-gastador…
True. Waaaah, anong voice yun? Haha.
Huwaw! ibang level ka na sis.galing!
i read this just now, im catching up with all the updates. hehehe..
Thank you, sis! Di naman, nagkataon lang yun. π
