Last weekend was a mix of play and work. The hubby and I weren’t able to go home in Bacoor again because of our crazy schedule but it was okay. We try to spend time with family as much as possible.
Our Saturday was spent at home with my in-laws. We had a lot of time to rest and sleep. In the morning, the hubby and my FIL went to Banawe again to have the former’s car’s air-con fixed. Remember he’s recently inherited an old car? (The hubby and I committed to shoulder the cost of the air-con repair to help him in the car’s rehabilitation expenses.) Anyway, they got a great deal — PHP8,000 all-in for a good as new car air-con — from one of the repair shops there. The hubby and I were too relieved the air-con’s compressor was still working well, otherwise we would have paid an additional of PHP14,000 for a new one.
The hubby and I went to the church in the afternoon to pray (it’s always the hubby’s urging as he’s the more religious one between us) and headed to the mall at night to do some errands. We were the first users of my FIL’s car’s new air-con, hahaha.
We also started watching Game of Thrones last week and we were able to finish the remaining two episodes of the first season before bedtime. Yes, late bloomers kami, hahaha. I dunno but we delayed watching the popular TV series for no apparent reason.
On Sunday, I woke up late but was still disciplined enough to prepare my complementary meals (I’m currently on Day 14 as of this writing).
The hubby and I were also able to do some decluttering after discovering a leak in one corner of the wall of our room at my PILs’ place. Look at all the trash we unearthed…
My FIL requested to filter/check everything first before disposing so it’s magulo like that. Haha.
I went to work in the afternoon because we had an event to manage and got home at almost 10PM. I just changed my clothes, freshened up, and then read a little before joining the hubby to sleep.
It was a short but sweet weekend. To more weekends like this! 🙂
May you choose happiness always,
