Weekend Story: Preparing for the Big Move

So, the time has come that we have to stay in Bacoor for good. The property where my PILs work as caretakers (and where they are currently residing and the hubby and I staying in during weekdays) has already been sold. Last weekend, we have started packing and moving stuff to Bacoor. We will be doing the same in the coming weekends because we only have until the end of the November in Manila.

My PILs are having mixed emotions over the big move. They are happy because finally, they will be able to retire. But they are also sad because they have been residents of that property (that now belongs to a new owner!) for 37 years. They have raised a family there. They have experienced various milestones and challenges in the humble abode that their beloved bosses had built for them inside that property. That house was where they have made tons of good memories kaya hindi talaga nila makakalimutan yun!. Pero sabi nga nila, nothing lasts forever, and so it’s time to let go and move on. Good luck to us!

Here are some photos from our weekend:

bought food containers because we will have to bring baon to work soon!

these slides were too cute to resist so buy them I did!

Have a stress-free week, friends! 🙂

May you choose happiness always,
