GM Diet, Day 5

GM Diet Day-by-Day Account: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4

Today, January 26, 2013 is my Day 5 on the GM Diet. My energy in the past days, though lower than usual, was enough to keep me going the entire day. I love how this diet still allows me to go out and do things.

Here’s what Day 5 says:

Day Five Today is feast day. You will eat beef and tomatoes. Eat two 10 oz. portions of lean beef. Hamburger is OK. Combine this with six whole tomatoes. On day five you must increase your water intake by one quart. This is to cleanse your system of the uric acid you will be producing.

Day 5 Weight: 134 (lost 5 lbs. since Day 1)

I was out with the hubby and my SIL the whole day to do some errands and shopping. I didn’t have time to prepare the beef that I had to eat so I settled for the next best thing: hamburger patties! I got two regular burgers from Jollibee for my brunch and a quarter pounder from McDonalds for my early dinner. I requested that they separate the dressing and other fillings from the sandwiches so I could easily take the patties out. I ate the beef patties together with the fresh tomato slices and drank lots of water each time. When we got home, I had some wonder soup to warm my stomach, and for added nutrition. I slept a bit later again because I did some blogging and watch a movie thru my iPhone. Haha.

The only form of exercise I did today was walking (around the mall). But I noticed I didn’t feel hungry easily. It must be the beef that normally feels heavy in the stomach.

Breakdown of Actual Expenses:

8 oz. (approx.) hamburger patties , P150
6 pcs. tomato, P15
wonder soup (left over from Day 4)

Total Expenses: P165

This day went by fast. Two more days and I’m done with this diet. I can’t wait to know the final results! 🙂

P.S. I took my weight using a bathroom scale first thing in the morning, with an empty stomach.
