Last long weekend was filled with happy memories. The hubby and I went home in Bacoor as early as Friday night. When Saturday afternoon came, my in-laws followed us there. After they had taken some rest, we hit the road to visit the grave of my FIL’s brother at the cemetery, also in Bacoor. On Sunday, we stayed home to bond as a family and in the evening, went to church to hear mass and visited Evia Lifestyle Center (ELC) for dinner and some malling.
We went back to Manila on Monday afternoon. We visited our angel son’s niche and rested a bit. Then the Techos and the Mabalays, along with my aunt and my cousin from Laguna, went to Robinsons Place Manila (RPM) to celebrate my father’s birthday through a simple dinner. He just turned 60, which means he’s now a dual citizen (Filipino and senior), hahaha.

The hubby and I joined my side of the family and some of my relatives in traveling to our hometown in Nueva Ecija. We left Manila early morning of Undas itself. There we got reunited with more of our relatives. Kwentuhan at kamustahang walang humpay. Picture dito, picture doon. Then it was time to visit the grave of my grandparents in the cemetery. We went back to Manila that same day.

Traffic was light on our way to the province but when we were driving back to the metro, traffic was building up already. Good thing we left for Manila early at 3PM.

I think we got home at past 7PM which was still earlier compared to their experience in the past years. I said “their” because I haven’t joined them in the last four or five years. Also, it was the hubby’s first time to join this trip ever since we got married. It was also only his second time to visit our hometown and his first time to visit my grandparents’ grave.
How did your Undas 2016 go, friends? 🙂
May you choose happiness always,
