Last weekend passed by quickly. On Saturday, the hubby and I, along with Mame, attended the christening and first birthday of my newest godchild Maria Justine Riley somewhere in Quezon City. (She’s the daughter of my childhood friend Jenalin.) We drove straight to Bacoor after the event.
On Sunday afternoon, the three of us joined the members of the media (both the traditional and the online one), VIP guests, children from various charity organizations, and a slew of shoppers in the Christmas launch of SM Southmall. It was held at the mall’s activity area. During the launch, SM Southmall’s first Christmas centerpiece was unveiled through a play by Stages entitled “Tale of the Winter Forest” and a full performance of the Manila String Machine.
Mame particularly enjoyed watching the play about two children who suddenly get lost in an enchanted forest where they meet a wounded rabbit, a lost cardinal, and a hungry tiger. When they help the animals, the winter fairy appears out of nowhere and shows them the right path home. What a beautiful story that teaches lessons of generosity, compassion, and hope!
If you’re from the south, SM Southmall has other holiday activities in store for you:
-Santa Claus Meet and Greet on November 13 & 27 and December 11 & 24, 2016
-Christmas Carols Serenade on November 22, 23, 24 & 26, 2016
-Double Weekend Holiday Sale on November 19-20 and November 26-27, 2016
You could also stand a chance to win amazing prizes or a brand new Chevrolet Traxx on their 12 Days of Christmas promo! SM Southmall really has something to offer to everyone this Yuletide season. Exciting, diba?
Enjoy the rest of the week, friends! 🙂
May you choose happiness always,
