Weekend Story: Undas 2016

Last long weekend was filled with happy memories. The hubby and I went home in Bacoor as early as Friday night. When Saturday afternoon came, my in-laws followed us there. After they had taken some rest, we hit the road to visit the grave of my FIL’s brother at the cemetery, also in Bacoor. On Sunday, we stayed home to bond as a family and in the evening, went to church to hear mass and visited Evia Lifestyle Center (ELC) for dinner and some malling.

We went back to Manila on Monday afternoon. We visited our angel son’s niche and rested a bit. Then the Techos and the Mabalays, along with my aunt and my cousin from Laguna, went to Robinsons Place Manila (RPM) to celebrate my father’s birthday through a simple dinner. He just turned 60, which means he’s now a dual citizen (Filipino and senior), hahaha.

Weekend Story: Charity Bike Ride for Him, Girl Bonding for Her

Last weekend was active and fun (for the hubby) and quiet and fun (for me). The hubby went to Makati on Saturday morning to finish an errand while I opted not to accompany him and just stay home to get more sleep. We drove to Bacoor on Saturday night with Mame and my sister Jodie.

So, the next morning, the hubby joined this bikers group for a charity ride to Tagaytay. He left early at past 5AM and returned home at past 7PM. He was out the entire day and came back exhausted but happy (I guess). I, on the other hand, had a girl bonding at home with two of my favorite girls in the world.

Weekend Story: At Home and Out with Family

Last weekend was spent with family. The hubby and I biked to Mall of Asia (MOA) on Saturday morning and drove to Bacoor in the afternoon with my in-laws, Mame, and my sister Jodie. We ate, slept, chatted, watched TV, surfed online, and laughed a lot. We also did some household chores because that’s what’s bound to happen when moms (two in our case!) are around. Haha. We went back to Manila on Sunday afternoon to prepare ourselves for the coming work week.

Here are some photos from our happy and fun weekend in chronological order:

33 in 2016

Because I just turned 33 years old today, I’ve come up with 33 shallow things about myself. I’ll share the deep ones on my 40th birthday, hahaha. But first, this picture taken by the hubby before we went to work this morning:

Now, here goes my list in random order:

Weekend Story: Antipolo Road Trip with Family (Our Lady of Antipolo Shrine, Mom’s Pot Restaurant, and Pinto Art Museum)

Last weekend was super fun. The hubby and I had a quiet time in Bacoor from Friday night to Saturday afternoon. By Saturday night, we were already back in Manila to spend the rest of the weekend with our two families. On Sunday, we embarked on a road trip to Antipolo. We had three stops which kept us preoccupied all throughout the trip. We were exhausted at the end of the day but we had loads of fun. It was definitely another family bonding to remember!

It was my PILs who really wanted to go to Antipolo and hear mass at the Our Lady of Antipolo Shrine. I was the one who suggested to expand our itinerary. Good thing they agreed to my idea and so the lunch at Mom’s Pot Restaurant and the visit to Pinto Art Museum materialized.
