Last weekend was all about enjoying good food and good company. First, there was Breakfast at Antonio’s in Tagaytay where the hubby and I, along with my youngest sister Jodie, had a hearty brunch on Sunday morning. Then, there was the newly-opened Gringo Chicken and Ribs at SM Manila where we had a nice dinner with my in-laws on the same day upon our return to Manila. I, therefore, conclude that this weekend made me bigger than ever, hahaha. Diet, we shall meet again tomorrow! 😛
Here are some of the photos we took:
first order of the day: Our Lady of Lourdes Church Tagaytay
resto signage with a great view
the horseradish mayo dip gave these sweet potato fries the wow factor!
brunch with my two loves at Breakfast at Antonio’s
apple crumble…because I’m a big fan of homemade ice cream!
If prices were not a consideration, I’d eat at Breakfast at Antonio’s every weekend. We liked everything about the place, from the delicious food and cozy ambience to the warm service and ideal location (with a great view of the Taal Lake). As for Gringo’s, their chicken was good but I wasn’t too impressed with their ribs. They had reasonable rates and fast service during our visit, though.

these ribs were good but my heart and taste buds still belong to Racks’ and Casa Verde’s ribs, hehe
Enjoy the rest of the week, friends! 🙂
May you choose happiness always,
I missed going to Tagaytay. Nadala na kasi ako dahil parang last 2 times na punta namin, super traffic. 🙁 I remembered the day after Boyet proposed to me in 2010, we decided to eat in ANTONIO’S GRILL. Tapos na-realize namin na teka, bakit iba sa nababasa namin sa Internet. Hindi pala siya Breakfast at Antonio’s! Preview na pala ‘yun ng mas marami pang bloopers sa married life namin! :p
P.S. Grabe ang energy mo, Edel. Tagaytay then SM Manila. Kapag nag-Tagaytay ako ng weekend, need ko mag-leave ng Monday para makabawi ng energy e. #TandersProblems :p
Hahaha, natawa ako dun sa preview ng married life! Naku Je, ganito siguro pag wala pang kids, medyo energetic pa. 🙂
Naalala ko yung Peri Peri sa last pic.
Lots of good restos, amazing view and weather is like Baguio. 😀
Correct, sis! The allures of Tagaytay! Hehe. 🙂
