Weekend Story: Christmas 2015

As has been the arrangement in the past 3 years, the hubby and I celebrated Christmas with my family at our family home in Naic, Cavite. This status that my brother Danison shared on FB is so aligned with my thoughts and feelings last Christmas:

Christmas this year fell on a Friday and so we had lots of time for family bonding (and general cleaning). We got home in Bacoor in the afternoon of Christmas and met up with my family at SM Bacoor the next day to have lunch together and watch MMFF movies separately (kanya-kanyang paborito).

The hubby and I, along with my sister Jodie and my brother Danison, went a little further and spent a few hours strolling at Evia Lifestyle Center before going home and calling it a night.

On Sunday, the hubby and I spent the rest of the afternoon doing a general cleaning of our house. Between the two of us, he’s the OC-ier one when it comes to keeping our home spic and span. I have to give him credit for convincing me to clean up as I can be very lazy if I want to, hahaha.

We got back to Manila by nighttime to get enough sleep and face the last work week for this year. Wohoo! 🙂

P.S. We are supposed to celebrate the New Year naman with the hubby’s family at our love nest in Bacoor but we thought, for a change, why not both families welcome 2016 in Bacoor? And so we informed everybody about our plan. Tingin naman namin kasya kaming lahat kahit maliit lang ang house namin. Bahala na si Batman! The more, the merrier.
